about

Thank you for supporting working musicians. We believe that these old tunes still speak truths and that music from any time, when played with love, care, and attention, is made new again. We encourage you to listen to the original (and subsequent) recordings of these songs and discover composers, bands, and individual musicians who are often forgotten or overlooked.

We would like to thank the warm and talented community of musicians in New Orleans for being incredibly welcoming and supportive, for keeping the bar high, and for breathing new life and enthusiasm into these timeless tunes.

We would also like to thank the following people and organizations who have contributed inspiration, instruction, and/or personal edification during our musical journeys. An incomplete list, in no particular order:

Susie Trenka, Leesaw Andaloro, The Tigermen Den, Weird Al Yankovic, Shania Twain, Jimmy Buffet, Coast to Coast AM radio, Emanuel Sayles, Danny Barker, Johnny St. Cyr, Megan Marino, Laura Roark, Nick Solnick, Garland Hoover, Welbourne Jazz Camp, Dennis Lichtman, Jason Jurzak, Russell Welch, Ben Polcer, Kris Tokarski, Hunter Burgamy, Marla Dixon, Shaye Cohn.
